Since we keep no extra kiddos on Fridays, we have Fun Friday! Today we went for lunch at McD's with Mia's aunt Laura, Mia, & Cason (Laura's son, the same age as Mia). It was so nice to get out with a new friend and just let the kids play and have a little time with another adult :) After that, we went window shopping around the shopping center we were near. Andrew wanted to go to PetsMart, so we made the trek up the hill way far away from where we parked our car, and we visited all of the animals there. Watched the dogs having playtime at the PetsHotel, touched a snake that a little boy was there buying, laughed at the rats that were digging around in their homes. Then when we left PetsMart, we noticed that a storm was headed directly for us. And we still had to get the stroller and ourselves back to our car - that was parked far, far away, down the hill! So we made it fun. Macy was sleeping in the stroller, and we started running as fast as we could. The wind was strong and though it wasn't raining yet, we could see it coming! It was fun, Andrew thought we were going to get poured on... and believe it or not, that storm went right past us and we never did get rain that afternoon! :)
After that, we ran a few more errands and then started heading home. Only to discover, halfway home, that Macy had another yucky diaper incident... she'd been having one quite frequently for the last few days, so we knew it was bad just from the smell. hahaha I look back, while stopping the car for a big Chicken Express Sweet Tea (yum!), and Andrew has his umbrella open in the car, covering him up. I asked what in the world he was doing, and he said he was blocking out the smell coming from Macy! hahaha Crazy kid. But he had the right idea, because shortly after, Macy started throwing up in the car as well, so it was then that I wished I had an umbrella to block the smell. EW!! Poor baby girl. She's been fine for the rest of the night, just having really bad diapers... not sure what's going on with her! Hopefully it's just teething!
