365 Days of Macy

welcome

A photo for each day of Macy's first year of life...

Outside fun

check out Macy's messy mop :)

her favorite place to be - INSIDE toyboxes!

she was yelling HI at me :)

Andrew loved the itty bitty babies :)

Queen of the remotes!

It's been really nice out in the evenings, and we have a tradition of standing outside when Miguel is on his way home from work... he lets us know when he's close so we can go spend the last 10-15 minutes outside waiting for him. So because I hadn't taken any pics in a few days, I thought I'd better take the camera outside with us. Of course, not all pics are from outside, nor are they all from the same day, but most of them are. I'm also going to attach a pic or two that I took of our newest baby cousins, twins Matthew & Caleb :)

The Fair, for the second time in her life

This was more of a "can you hurry and take this picture so we can go to the State Fair" instead of a "oh this pumpkin is soooo heavy" pose :)

This weekend, some of my family came up to visit and we went to the pumpkin patch and to the State Fair. This makes Macy's second trip to the fair :) This time, she was able to play her first game and win her first prize. It was a hot and tiring day, but we survived and can't wait to go next year! So we have pics from the pumpkin patch, (and one from a week or so ago), pics from the fair, and then maybe one or two random pics...

Sweet punkin head

This girl makes me so happy :) She's been really clingy lately - we think she's cutting some more teeth (she's got 4 top & 4 bottom currently), but whatever it is, she just wants to be held, cuddled, etc... Which I don't mind, of course, unless it's when I'm trying to cook dinner :)

Just a few pics from this afternoon when we ran outside to walk daddy in from the car when he got home from work...

LOTS of pics!!

Waiting at the bus stop (cell phone pic)

Bad quality (cell phone pic) but she kept trying to put my glasses on, so...

She's not too sure about sleeves :)

Wanting to take the hat OFF! :)

This is her new "silly face"... and it's SO sweet that she was sitting with Andrew...

Crazy boy :)

She was laying back on the pumpkin :)

She and my friends daughter were giving each other high-fives hahaha

She loved the little dwarfs, they were just her size!

She chose to sit at the bottom of the hay bales in the hay ride, almost falling asleep...

So we've taken a lot of pics lately, but I just haven't been able to get them uploaded and on here yet!

Quick update on Macy, so I'll have it written down somewhere... She's learning a TON these days. She gets our dish towel and wipes the floors with it, as if she's cleaning. haha She brings her sippy cup to us when she wants more, and signs "more" for us... same with crackers, snacks, etc - she will sign more when she'd like more. Oh and if she doesn't want something you offer her - she just throws it onto the floor, spits it out, or shakes her head no :) She still just says hi, mama, dada, bubba, babababa (baby?), and she will now say "Abum" for Andrew. And I think she has a word for cracker, but I'm gonna have to listen closer to figure out how she's saying it, so that I can write it down :) She's practically running these days - trying to move faster anyway - sometimes she ends up on her face, but she loves trying to keep up with her big brother! She has learned to climb onto the couch - not sure if I mentioned that last time I blogged or not. She LOVES to sit in your lap - especially if you're feeding her something. She has a routine of going to everyone to tell them "night-night" when I'm getting her ready for bed. I will tell her "go tell daddy night-night", and she'll walk to him wherever he's at, and she'll open her mouth and lean in to him for a kiss. Then we'll do the same with Andrew. Then she's ready for bed :) I'm cherishing the moments I get to stay at home with her, as I'm not sure how much longer I'll be able to do it...

There are LOTs of pics today. We visited the pumpkin patch for a friends bday the other day... and then we had to take some pics of her in the little outfit that Grandpa Al gave her. And some other random pics too :) Enjoy...
