Wow, 300 days old already!! Time is flying!! We had Macy's 9 month doctor appointment today, even though she'll be 10months old in 2 days :)
Basically, the doc informed us that we'd better put our running shoes on, because our girl should be walking VERY soon. YIKES! Wonder how he knew?? Maybe from the crawling, pulling up, and standing alone she was doing around the exam room. haha The girl weighs 18.5 pounds and is in the 20th percentile for weight. She's 27 inches long, which puts her in the 20th percentile for height. And her head? Let's just say her brain is really big, because she's in the 85th percentile for her head size. hahaha She didn't get shots (yay!), but she did get her finger poked to take blood to check for anemia. After the appt., we had to run to Wal-Mart, and wouldn't you know, she pulled/chewed the bandages right off while we were driving. So Andrew is in the back, flipping out, because of all the blood coming from Macy's finger. Poor kids! We got more bandaids, cleaned her up, and she proceeded to chew/pull the bandaid off one more time....then again one more time before leaving the store. Luckily it stopped bleeding and all was well. But get this - she didn't make one little peep when the lady sliced her finger, nor when she had to squeeze her finger for 5 minutes to get the blood out. My girl is a toughy. :) (and her big brother was jealous at how tough she was - he cries like a baby when you even mention the word shot to him!) Love my kids, and I'm so happy I have a healthy baby girl. (doc said she's very well advanced for her age, too, with all the things she's doing and did while we were there)
I think she gets her smarts from me. :)
