365 Days of Macy

welcome

A photo for each day of Macy's first year of life...

Green belts & not-so-good Christmas photos!

What have you missed? Well, Andrew had his latest belt test in karate, moving up from orange belt to green! Then we had Thanksgiving where the kids and I went down to my parents house and Miguel & Riley stayed in the DFW area with his family. We took lots of pics - I was hoping to get a good Christmas card photo of my kids but Macy decided to be her sassy self and Andrew had no interest in taking a good picture for me. So here's what you're left with!

AJ - he came running to me, telling me to "smell this pie - it smells so good!" - I told him "don't smash it in my face, and look at the camera and smile for a pic!" :)

The two glamour girls in their glasses :)

Mr. Max :)

Seriously. This is what I have to work with. Don't you wish you had them? One kid does his crossed-eye funky thing while the other gives me "the eye". I'm done. DONE I tell ya!

She STILL isn't giving in for a good pic. Just a deeper "eye" look.

Oh kids! Look HAPPY!! I'm a cool mom! I'm nice! I buy you gum and treats! Now just smile and look nice for a picture!! :) (okay, this one isn't THAT bad, but I had high expectations I guess) :)

Jenny & Dalton wanted to jump for a pic :)

Trying to get a good one of just Macy...

Wow, not bad!

Really, Macy? REALLY??? lol

There's my silly girl - now can you open your eyes?!

YAY!

Marcie, her kiddos and my crazy girl!

He got tired of trying to learn to ride a bike so he traded it for the scooter instead :)

She was trying to pose. Ignore the wet hair. lol

There's the green belt picture!

Macy thought she needed to be on the floor lol (Miguel was in the background saying "get her out of there!!' - I was saying "wait, let me get a picture first!" lol)

He is the ultimate bug catcher!!

Just a shot of the windmill at a park I do sessions at...

Another great thing about where I do sessions - I get great views!

That is all!!

2 going on 15!

So Macy gets to tag along on my sessions sometimes and this particular location was a lot of fun and when I was done with my clients, I let her out of the stroller and got some great shots of her just running around being silly. I told her she could pick the spots she wanted to take a picture and she would randomly stop and smile for me lol She's totally 2 going on 15 :)

Probably one of my new favorite pics of my girl :)

I guess she'd had something blue or green to eat, cause her lips were colored in this one lol

This one was a little blurry but Miguel liked it so I fixed the clarity some and posted it anyway.

I wanted her to stand right in front of that red garage door, but she said "no". So I told her to pick a spot to stand for a pic and she pointed to this spot on the ground and said "here". Then I said fine and smile, so this is what I got :)

One other day last week, playing outside...

So sassy!!

I do believe we're in trouble with this one!! :)

Pictures out the wahzoo!!!!!!

Andrew the knight

So this alligator costume was Andrew's from when he was 2 and I just had to use it for Macy this year....only we added a tutu to see if we could make it a little more feminine :)

Small pumpkin patch with Abigail & Jake

Look! It's Randy Travis up there - no really, it is!

See? :)

And look, there he is again! No wait, that's just a bunch of trees. (this is what happens when you hold your camera up above your head and try to get a shot of the stage without really knowing what you're taking a picture of) lol

I think they won a few prizes, what do you think? :)

Nope, we don't force our kids to smile for pictures at all, don't know why you'd think that. :)

Macy was very well pleased with her prizes :)

Macy's first fair game

Her first prize :)

Her first fair ride :)

The big slide is always a favorite with the kids...this year was the first time Jake road alone (we think)

Andrew LOVED it :)

Abigail - WHOA someone stop this thing!! :)

His first prize of the night (thankfully they have lots of kid games where they win no matter what)

Jake concentrating really hard on making it through the spinner

Andrew & Abigail coming down the log flume thing

I LOVE Abigail's face in this one!

Annual pic in front of the ferris wheel

Andrew had a spider painted on his face at our neighborhood fall fest.

So when she didn't get her very own snow cone at the festival, she threw a fit. And of course I had to take a picture of it :)

WHOA!

She loved chasing the chickens and ducks

Andrew spent the majority of the festival in the petting zoo area. He loves animals like crazy

Her first pony ride!

I had a mini-session at a pumpkin patch so I brought Macy alone and took a few pics of her after my session.

Wardrobe change!

Had to try out the hat Mimi sent her!

Mrs. "nonna" (Donna, but Macy calls her nonna) gave her this outfit and requested a picture of her in it in front of my pink background. So here ya go :)

Macy gets to tag along during my sessions like Andrew does at times, and this time she was lucky enough to make friends with the girl I shot. A friend with goldfish is a friend indeed!! :)

See, at the beginning of the session, she acts all sweet and innocent :)

Andrew came with me on another session last week and picked flowers for me while I worked :)

That's all, goodnight!
