Day 118 - Abigail's Birthday Party!

Macy got her very first picture taken with Santa today. Well, we all knew he was really Andrew's friends dad, but Macy didn't know, so all is well :) Though he was wearing these silly sunglasses (to disguise himself??) - we'll most definitely going to the mall soon to get a REAL Santa pic :)

Abigail's bday party was also this evening. We had a good time and Macy got to show off her new feather & hat. She was adorable as always, but definitely sick - the girl has the cold again and we're already tired of it and pray it leaves just as quick as it came!!

Day 117 - Running Errands & Getting Sick

Macy & I missed the Journey to the Manger nativity scene/petting zoo at our church tonight because my baby girl went and got sick on me again today. Same cold stuff that she had a few weeks ago...it's no fun :( So the boys went to the church and us girls stayed home and watched the Muppet Christmas show on TV. This morning we spent our time running errands, getting crafts to make the gifts I'm giving out to family members this year. Tomorrow we head to East Texas for Abigail's 7th birthday party! Should be fun as usual! :) And to end the day, Macy sat with her daddy while he played Mario Cart :)

Day 116 - A Day of Sitting with the Sitters

I had a photo session this morning, so Macy bug went to her babysitters house for a few hours.... and then tonight, Miguel, Andrew & myself went to the Grapevine Parade of Lights that we attend every year, so Macy went and played with my coworker and friend, "Auntie Donna" and her family. When I picked her up, she was excited and just dancing all over the place with joy. Don't worry, Macy, the Thomas family gets my heart happy like that too, girl :)

Day 115 - Her First Snowfall!

We woke up this morning to SNOW!!!! And a LOT of it! It's sooo pretty, and I'm just so blessed that I get to enjoy it from my own couch :) And yes, I'm a mean mommy - we ran Macy bug outside for a quick pic - and just look at sweet Andrew's little face. He was soooo excited!!

Day 114 - Learning to Grab

Macy bug is learning to grab at things finally - she's not gotten the total hang of it yet, but she's enjoying herself regardless. She likes the little rattle I hang above her that she can now bat at with her little hands. It keeps her entertained for a bit, until she remembers that she can roll over :)

Day 113 - And the Tree Goes Up!

Macy went to work with me today, as it was my last day of work.... she was loved on by all, of course, and I finished up the packing of my office and turning everything over to my replacement. It was a good day. Took Andrew to McD's after school to 'celebrate' my new journey that lies ahead :)

Came home and put the tree up once Miguel came home from work. Andrew thought it was more fun to be a pirate and wear his mini nutcracker ornaments on his ears than it was to hang them on the tree :) And Macy - just guess what she did while we put the tree up..... Yep, you guessed it - she slept.

Day 112 - The Start of a New Journey

Tomorrow will be the very last day I will work outside of the home for a while.... I've worked for 13 years and now I will be staying at home with my baby girl and will be able to be there for Andrew when he's home from school and during his events at school. I'm VERY excited, and I just KNOW Macy is too :) In fact, she took a nap to celebrate. haha

And yes, mom, and those who may ask.... she HAS gotten chubbier since you saw her just a few days ago. haha

AND - today Macy learned to flip from her back to her belly. She has already been flipping from belly to back, but now is a pro at back to belly and we can hardly get her to stay still long enough for a diaper or clothing change :) I've attached a video (turn on your speakers if you have them) of the girl and her fast moves....
