Went to church this morning, ate out with our BBQ giftcard afterwards. YUMMY. Didn't do anything else the rest of the day - a perfect Sunday! :)
Day 146 - Running Errands
We all slept in this morning and then got dressed to go and run some errands together. We had a quick lunch and then went to Wal-Mart to grab a few things (pjs for Macy, as she's now wearing 6month clothes and we have next to nothing in that size for her!) and then to the post office to get some photo CD's and books in the mail. Came home and made a yummy dinner with some steamed veggies & rice from our new rice cooker. Macy would have loved it if she were able to have any :) Everyone is headed to bed now and I'm just updating the blog with my sweet baby girl's pic from today. She was in this cute little outfit only a second after I took this pic because she had a major blowout and needed something new to wear. lol Oh, and the pic with the tongue sticking out - it's her new thing now - she smiles and sticks her tongue out all of the time. It's too funny :)

Day 145 - New Year's Day
Macy was able to spend the day with her two favorite people in this world.... her daddy & her big brother. I went to Canton to do a little shopping with my big sis, Amy, so Miguel stayed home with the kiddos. Macy has taken a big liking to her daddy these days, and didn't seem the least bit interested in seeing me when I got home tonight :) Doesn't bother me - I like it that she wants someone else besides me. Gives me a little freedom to do other things :) Proof that she only wanted her daddy tonight - I could NOT get the girl to lay down and sleep or even be still for a second, and I pass her off to Miguel and she's out like a light in no time at all. Little stink pot! :) I saw a onesie at Canton today that I definitely should have gotten for her... it said "I've already found my prince - his name is Daddy" Awwwww!!! (and internet is back up, so pics and posts should all be straightened out from here on...)

Day 144 - Her First New Year's Eve
Tonight we went over to Aunt Diana's house to do a family photo shoot with her, Rick, and his family. Took lots of really cute and fun pics of the kiddos and everyone else and had a really nice time visiting with them all again. We had invited some people over for snacks and games for New Year's Eve, but no one was able to come, so after pictures, we came home and ended up all doing our own separate thing. We were all just really tired and fell asleep in different rooms :) Somehow, though, we all were awake at midnight (Miguel woke me up with a kiss, and Andrew was awake and freaking out about the fireworks that were going off outside), so we were able to tell each other Happy New Year and then crash again :) It was pretty low-key and I'm hoping next year we are able to have a house full of friends and/or family to help us celebrate the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011! Happy New Year to you all!

Day 143 - A Night Out...For The Big People
Miguel and I got to go out on a dinner date tonight! Mari kept Macy & Andrew while Miguel and I went to Outback to use our giftcards. Despite having hairy chicken wings at the restaurant (that we got for free thank goodness!), we had a nice little dinner together with no kids. Macy found more of her voice and her giggle tonight at Aunt Mari's, so that was fun to see when we picked her up. We were also able to see Buela & Papa Bill at Aunt Mari's house too...they came in for a procedure that Bill is having tomorrow. Macy enjoyed being 'swayed' to sleep by her Buela, it was really sweet :)

Day 142 - Staying In
Not even sure what we did this day... (posting late due to no internet connection for the last several days), but I believe we just stayed in since Macy bug has been so sick and it's been so cold out. It did snow again today, and it was SO pretty, so we had to put Macy in her snowflake pj's and take a few pics...just not out in the snow since she is sick. My sweet girl is just still so happy regardless of how icky she feels.

Day 141 - Back to the Doctor
Despite looking and acting just as cute as can be, Macy is still sick. I took her in to the doctor this afternoon and they said that even though the illness isn't in her lungs or her ears, it's still in her bronchial (spelling?) tubes and that because she's had the congestion for 6+ weeks, we need to do something to help her. So he gave her an antibiotic and a steriod. If it doesn't clear up in 10 days, we have to go back for a more aggressive treatment plan. So let's hope and pray that it goes away soon!!!
